Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo is actively recruiting a full-time faculty physician in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology. The Division, comprised of two faculty members, has an active Fellowship Program and is located at the free-standing university-affiliated Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, part of the Kaleida Health System. Clinical duties include coverage of ESRD (dialysis and transplant) patients, inpatient service, consultations and outpatient clinic. Candidates should have an interest in research, either clinical and/or basic and will be responsible for teaching fellows, residents and medical students; must be Board certified in pediatrics and Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.

Minimum Qualifications

MD or DO Board certified in Pediatrics and Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Nephrology at the level of Assistant Professor.

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience with ESRD patients.-Actively engaged in clinical or basic research and experienced teaching fellows, residents and medical students.
