Position Summary

The successful candidates are expected to contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service mission of the undergraduate public health programs and the School of Public Health and Health Professions. The expected teaching load is 3-4 courses per semester. While the primary focus is on teaching, the successful candidates are expected to engage in research scholarship in their specialty area. Involvement of undergraduates in research activities is encouraged. Teaching faculty will be assigned a “home department” in one of the five academic departments in the School of Public Health and Health Professions, based on fit with the faculty member’s area of expertise. Minimum Qualifications

An earned doctorate degree in a public health discipline or a related field; a record of/potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level; a record of/potential for research productivity.
