Position Summary

Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who will be a part of the clinical faculty holding a part/full time appointment within the School of Nursing to provide health care in a community-based setting on a federally funded HRSA grant. Our community partner, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has three clinics that will be staffed by the individuals hired on this posting. These clinics include the Tuscarora Health Center, Golisano Community Health Center, and the Seneca Gaming Health clinic. Prior experience in diverse, rural, and underserved health care settings is required. Highly competitive compensation and benefits packages are available. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Maintenance of appointment is contingent upon annual and continued receipt of HRSA funds. Minimum Qualifications

Applicants with a MS/MSN will be considered in conjunction with prior work experience. A minimum of three years FNP clinical experience in an out-patient primary care setting is required. Must be licensed New York State Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse and possess national certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with students and in a telehealth environment. Experience working with underserved, rural and American Indian populations, in a community health setting. Experience working in interprofessional education environments. Doctoral Degree (e.g. DNP/Ph.D.) preferred.
