Position Summary

The School of Management is seeking a CRM and Analytics Manager for the full-time Graduate Programs in the UB School of Management. In support of graduate program enrollment, the focus for this position is to:

• Assist with the implementation and on-going management of university graduate instance of Slate CRM (Technolutions).
o Working with the Graduate Programs and university teams, provide guidance to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions and Recruiting on configuring, optimizing and implementing Slate for current graduate programs in the School of Management.
o Through consultation with the Senior Associate Director and Assistant Dean, define requirements and logic for effective use of the CRM and ensure infrastructure captures all relevant information; Help to develop forms and workflows, maintain data hygiene and integrity.
o Train additional CRM/Slate users, as necessary.
• Provide input to the Graduate Programs team to drive desired results in the prospective student pipeline (inquiries, leads, applicants, admitted students and yield) in Slate.
o Work closely with key constituents to analyze competitive, applicant, pipeline, program, segmentation and placement data;
o Create and execute data-driven targeted, branded and automated campaigns designed to identify, attract and enroll candidates in support of quantity and quality goals; Coordinate targeted campaign tracking in Slate and Google Analytics to ensure accuracy to campaign data in various platforms.
o Work closely with all key stakeholders to create the necessary mixed media content to achieve goals.
• Communicate with School of Management leadership through regular reporting, data interpretation and visualization
o Measure effectiveness of CRM through analysis of conversion rates, likelihood of interest, application and enrollment, improve messaging and communications through content performance.
o Review site analytics, including but not limited to Google Analytics and AdWords
o Prepare annual marketing, recruiting, admissions and enrollment data report to assist senior leadership with decision making.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position are:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
• 2 years relevant work experience
• Business acumen, ethical behavior, ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
• Proven hands-on, functional proficiency in CRM administration
• Excellent data ecosystem skills, including but not limited to good data hygiene, collection, organization, analysis and visualization.
• Ability to quickly learn and use University and external technology, including but not limited to Slate, Google Analytics, Adobe CMS.
• Strong customer-focus and working knowledge of value-based sales practices and processes.
• Excellent communicator, with outstanding oral, written and presentation skills, team and collaboration skills, and able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including current students or alumni, administrative and academic departments.
• Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the required skills, the ideal candidate for this position will have:
MBA or Masters in relevant disciplines like Marketing or Communications, strongly preferred.
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Proven hands-on functional expertise in Slate or equivalent CRM tool for higher education, including but not limited to implementation, management, programming, coding, querying, and analyzing.
• Proven hands-on functional expertise in University and external technology, including but not limited to Google Analytics, Adobe CMS.
• Higher Education Admissions and/or Communications experience is not required but is a plus
