Position Summary

The Department of English at the University at Buffalo invites applications for a clinical assistant professor in technical communication and professional writing to teach in our new graduate certificate in Professional Writing and Digital Communication and in our advanced writing undergraduate curriculum, including courses in science writing, professional writing, technical communication, and writing in the health sciences.
Additional information regarding the certificate program can be found on our website ( Requirements: PhD in Technical Communication, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field. This position has a two-year contract with the possibility of renewal and opportunities for promotion to clinical associate and clinical full professor.

The position will remain open until filled, but preference given to applications received by 03/07/2018.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Technical Communication, Rhetoric and Composition, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience in a college or university setting, preferably at the graduate level.
