Position Summary

The Health Promotion Program Assistant will provide support to the four program areas of Wellness Education Services: Alcohol and Other Drug Harm Reduction, Healthy Eating, Sexual Violence Prevention, and Stress Management. Serve as primary liaison to Marketing & Communication regarding UB brand management, wellness messaging and content management of website. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: being liaise between eight staff members and administrative, services, research, and clinical personnel as well as off-campus individuals; helps set priorities, monitors timelines, and represents the programs on committees as assigned; monitors and initiates actions related to tracking dashboards, service indicator placement and removal, coordination of web services with IT, HUB, and outside vendor services; assists in creating campus health reports from survey data and on-line assessments to assist Director with programmatic decisions and for reports to the campus; and interviews, hires, trains, maintain records, and supervises front desk work-study students and student assistants.

Minimum Qualifications

Associates Degree with professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, Publisher, and have familiarity and dexterity with on-line tools of engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
