Position Summary

We are seeking a well-trained researcher with excellent work ethic and the ability to interact with a team to work on a NIH-funded project that focuses on high throughput strategies to discover novel genes/pathways that control stem cell fate decisions. The applicant is expected to work independently as well as in collaboration with other group members to complete projects in a timely manner.
In addition to manuscripts, the candidate will be expected to participate in writing research proposals.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences or related field. Hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell culture (stem cell culture and differentiation), and genetic modification (transfection/transduction) are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with high-throughput methods (RNA-Seq, ChiP-Seq) and data analysis is highly desirable. Priority will be given to candidates with strong oral communications and writing skills.
