Position Summary

The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences at the University at Buffalo invites applications for one or two (tbd) 10-month tenure-track positions in speech-language sciences or disorders (rank negotiable based on experience). Faculty are expected to develop an independent research program, publish in peer-reviewed journals, seek extramural research support, and teach clinical Master’s level courses and undergraduate courses in speech and language. Job duties include development and maintenance of an active research program; as well as teach 3 courses per academic year; and service to the Department, University, the profession, and community. We are particularly interested in hiring individuals who are able to complement and/or expand current department research strengths in speech and language. Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Post-doctoral experience, University teaching experience and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology are desirable, but not required.
